Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Khuraman Javadzadeh, an Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete who will participate in the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF), which will be held in North Macedonia and Croatia.
The athlete, who will compete in the 44 kg category, shared her thoughts before the competition on the official website of the National Olympic Committee: "Training camps and competitions I participated in during the year allowed me to be in top form before the festival. I will try my best to represent our country worthily in this prestigious competition and fight hard for a medal."
It should be noted that taekwondo competitions are included in the EYOF competition calendar for the first time. Our country will be represented by 5 male and 3 female athletes in the taekwondo competitions to be held at the Skopje University of Physical Education.
