The Organizing Committee of the World Games, which will be held in Chengdu, China, has presented the medals.
İdman.biz reports that they reflect famous Chinese symbols: the giant panda, the golden snub-nosed monkey and the golden sun bird.
More than 4,000 athletes from 120 countries, including Azerbaijan, will participate in the event, which will cover 40 sports.
Our athletes will compete for victory in gymnastics, tumbling (Mikhail Malkin), acrobatics (Agasif Rahimov and Raziya Seyidli mixed pair, Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov men's duo, Riad Safarov, Rasul Seyidli, Abdullah al-Mashaihi and Seymur Jafarov men's group) and aerobics (Vladimir Dolmatov and Madina Mustafayeva mixed pair).
In addition, three-time world karate champion Irina Zaretska (68 kg) and world kickboxing champion Amin Guliyev (63.5 kg) have also qualified for the World Games.
Note that the World Games will be held on August 7-17.
