Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete, Paris-2024 silver medalist Gashim Magomedov has been awarded the "Fair Play Spirit" award of the European Fair Play Movement for his exemplary behavior in sports and commitment to ethical values.
The Taekwondo Federation told "Report" about this.
On May 18, the award ceremony of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) was held in Olympia, Greece. Individuals, athletes and sports organizations that embody integrity, respect and solidarity in sports were awarded at the gala night.
A video clip addressed to the European organization by Gashim Magomedov, whose candidacy was put forward by the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee, was also shown at the ceremony.
