Azerbaijani rower wins gold medal at international competition

Azerbaijani rower Alimurad Hajizade won a gold medal at the "President Cup-2025" international regatta dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

İdman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the athlete, born in 2009, covered the 1000-meter distance in a single kayak boat faster than anyone else at the tournament held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir.

Azerbaijani rowers have previously won a total of 8 awards, including 3 silver and 5 bronze. The regatta will conclude today.
