The World Fencing Championship will be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, this month. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani team will be represented in several events.
Sabina Karimova, Leyla Ahmadova, and Polina Kaspiarovich will compete in the women's sabre competition. They will compete in both individual and team championships. Anna Bashta, the leader of our sabre team, will miss the main tournament of the year due to injury.

urad Akbarov, Abbas Huseynov, Saleh Mammadov, and Magsud Huseynli will participate in individual and team competitions in the men's sabre competition.
Also, Ruslan Hasanov will represent our country in Tbilisi in the epee event.
It should be noted that the World Fencing Championship will be held on July 22-30.
