Peter Kralik, Vice President of the World Minifootball Federation, spoke to "Report". Sport24.az presents the interview.
- The Azerbaijani and Hungarian teams will face each other in the final of the World Championship. What are your thoughts?
- This is good news for Azerbaijan. Even better news for your country would be if you win the decisive match. Hungary is a very good team. They have experienced players in their squad. It can already be predicted that the final match will be very difficult.
- Which team's chances do you rate higher?
- It must be taken into account that the game starts from 0:0. Whoever scores more goals will win. We believe that the fans gathered at the National Gymnastics Arena will witness an interesting final.
- What can you say about the organization of the World Championship?
- The most beautiful of the world championships held so far is the one organized in Baku. However, the competition is not over yet. I believe that the atmosphere of the final match will be remembered with even more magnificent moments.
- 7007 fans watched the Azerbaijan-England match of the 1/4 final. This is an absolute record in the history of the world championships. Did you expect this in advance?
- Previously, the best indicator was recorded in the opening match of the European Championship held in Kosice, Slovakia - Slovakia - Belgium match. 6513 fans watched that match live. When Azerbaijan came first in that tournament, we already understood that this country would be one of the best organizers. I congratulate the local organizing committee for the fan record recorded in Baku. But as I mentioned a little earlier, the competition is not over yet.
- How will the organization in Baku be a positive example for other countries?
- The previous competitions have been a good example for Azerbaijan. Your country has prepared very well for the World Cup. I believe that other countries will look at Azerbaijan and be even more inspired. Everyone saw that minifootball is very popular in Baku.
