The management of "Araz-Nakhchivan" club, which secured the championship in the Azerbaijan Futsal Premier League the other day, wants to extend the contract with the Russian head coach Yevgeny Kuksevich.
This was stated to "Report" by Mahmud Sadigov, vice-president of the Nakhchivan representative.
He also spoke about the goals set:
"We will take the last game seriously and finish it properly. We want to extend the contract with the head coach. We currently have a contract with him. If an agreement is reached, we will sign a new contract for the next season. There will also be new transfers. We will probably keep goalkeeper Emin Kurdov and 5 players from the current team. We will completely renew the squad."
The official of the club, which won a ticket to the UEFA Champions League, noted that their goal is to pass at least two stages:
"It will be very difficult in the UEFA Champions League. It is the preliminary stage. We have set the goal of passing at least two stages for the head coach. We have given him full authority to select futsal players and complete the team."
It should be noted that "Araz-Nakhchivan" won the championship one round before the end of the season by winning 6:2 against "Neftchi" IK in the XIX round of the Premier League.
