"Zira" will participate in the final of the Azerbaijan Cup for the third time, and "Sabah" for the second time. Sport24.az reports that the Professional Football League has released information about this.
"Zira" eliminated "Turan Tovuz" (2:0, 0:0) in the semi-finals, and "Sabah" eliminated "Qarabağ" (2:2, 2:1). The settlement club has reached the final for the 3rd time in its history. Zira's namesake representative was a participant in the decisive match in the 2021/2022 and 2023/2024 seasons.
"Sabah" will play in the final both in its history and for the second time in a row. The winner of the past season will try to defend the title. The rivals, who will face each other on May 13, faced the same team - "Qarabağ" - in previous final games.
