Interview with "Zira" footballer Hajiaga Hajili for Sport24.az
- You have extended your contract with the club for another two years. What can you say about this?
- I have been playing for "Zira" since 2020. Five years is not a short time. It is my home team. That's why I'm very happy to continue my career here. I also believe that we will achieve even better success with "Zira".
- Did you have any other offers?
- I honestly don't know. To be honest, since there was a "Zira" option, I wasn't interested in other offers at all. I wanted to stay at this club myself.
- How is the preparation process in Turkey going?
- We went to the brother country on July 5. Our training camp is proceeding normally. We have also played two friendly games. I hope everything will be at the desired level and we will finish the camp as we want.
- You will face Croatian representative "Hajduk" in the second qualifying round of the Conference League. How do you see the chances?
- We are currently preparing for the games of this stage. We will try to do our best and go out on the field to advance to the next round.
- Do you think that the current squad of "Zira" is strong enough to beat this opponent?
- "Hajduk" is a strong team, but it is not invincible either. I believe that we will achieve our desire and pass this stage.
