"In the first game, we saw that "Qarabağ" is much superior to "Shelbourne" in terms of skill". Zaur Hashimov said this in his statement to Sport24.az while explaining his expectations from the return match that "Qarabağ" will play against "Shelbourne" (Ireland) in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
The veteran football player stated that he does not believe that there will be a miracle in the match:
"It is true that at certain times of the match, "Shelbourne" could create dangerous episodes in front of our representative's goal. However, "Qarabağ" returned with a 0:3 victory in the away game. I don't believe that any miracle will happen in Baku. Although "Shelbourne" will organize several attacks within the "native walls", they will have difficulty organizing such attacks in Baku. "Qarabağ" will control the ball throughout the game. We can say with certainty that the team that passes the stage will be "Qarabağ".
It should be noted that the "Qarabağ" - "Shelbourne" match will start at 20:00 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium. The first match in Dublin ended with a 3:0 victory for Gurban Gurbanov's team.
