"We lost 2 points in the game against Baku Sporting. Although we were ahead in the score for most of the game, we couldn't achieve what we wanted in the end." These words were said by Rustam Mammadov, the head coach of Zaqatala, in an interview with Sport24.az.
He commented on his team's draw with Baku Sporting in the 4th round of the I League between "native walls":
"If we had been more careful and patient in defense in the last 15-20 minutes, the score could have been different. Our opponent scored 9 goals in 3 games. We played against a very high-quality team. We had prepared for this. We played well in the first half, and Baku Sporting in the second half. Overall, a draw was the fairest result for both teams. Considering that we couldn't get together when we wanted to and that some players joined the team late, 7 points in 4 games is not a bad indicator at all. But if we are fighting for the top spots in the standings, we naturally cannot be satisfied with a draw."
It should be noted that after 4 rounds, Zaqatala, with 7 points, is in the 5th place of the tournament table.
