"I expressed my dissatisfaction to the fourth referee, Elvin Bayramov, in the episode of the disallowed goal. In my opinion, there was no foul in that episode." These words were stated by Yunis Huseynov, the coach of "Turan Tovuz", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The expert spoke about receiving a second yellow card and being expelled from the technical area in the match against "Kapaz" (1:0) in the Azerbaijan Cup:
"After the dissatisfaction, the assistant referee told the chief referee Ali Aliyev, "Come and give Yunis Huseynov a yellow card." After that, I told the referee, "Are you relieved?"
Huseynov also touched upon the direct red card received by head coach Kurban Berdyev:
"Kurban Berdyev has been working as a head coach for years. He has received a red card twice in his career, both in Azerbaijan. In that episode, a clear free kick was not awarded in front of Berdyev's eyes. Inevitably, the head coach and we get nervous. In general, the coaching staff is nervous during the game. Maybe we are wrong, and the referees are right. But after the game, you watch the video and see that the episode is a free kick. In my opinion, the card given to Kurban Berdyev was a wrong decision."
