"Our goal in the match against Kapaz is to win. God willing, we will win and make our fans happy."
This was stated by Yau Mozes, the Ghanaian midfielder of "Imishli", in an interview with futbolinfo.az.
We present this interview.
– In the next round, you will be the guest of "Kapaz", which you have not lost to this season. Will 1 point satisfy you in this meeting, or is the goal only to win?
– Our goal in the match against Kapaz is to win. God willing, we will win and make our fans happy.
– We don't see you in the main squad of "Imishli", either you don't play, or you enter the field later. What can you say about this? Do you consider yourself fully ready to take a place in the first "11"?
– Yes, due to injury, I have been out of the field for a long time and I am now returning. If the head coach decides that I should play in the main squad, I am ready.
– What will be the goal of "Imishli" in the last part of the season: to maintain its current position in the tournament table, or to advance as much as possible?
– Our main goal is to be in higher positions in the Premier League. We are working as a team with maximum effort to achieve this goal. We are focused on getting the best result in every game.
– Your country, Ghana, will compete in the same group with England, Croatia and Panama at the World Cup to be held this summer. How do you assess the chances of your national team to get out of the group in the World Cup? Do you think the Ghana national team can surprise at the World Cup?
– Ghana is a football country with many talented young players. Therefore, I would not be surprised if our national team can go further in this World Cup. If you remember, Ghana was able to reach the 1/4 finals at the 2010 World Cup. I expect another successful performance from our team.
