Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso spoke about his team's winger, Vinicius Júnior, after the (2:1) match against Barcelona in the 10th round of La Liga.
Idman.Biz reports that Alonso emphasized that he was satisfied with the Brazilian footballer's game and that he plays an important role for the team:
"I am very positively impressed by Vinicius Júnior's performance, and we must not forget the main point. He made a great contribution to this victory. It was an important and completely deserved victory. I think the score could have been more convincing, considering our penalty and goal opportunities. The main thing is that we, as a team, regained our competitive spirit. Every coach knows that players have different characters. Now we will enjoy the game, but when the time comes, we will discuss this issue in the dressing room."
It should be noted that when Vinicius was substituted in the 72nd minute, he protested to Alonso and left the field angrily. Although he went straight to the locker room, he later returned and watched the final part of the game with his teammates on the bench.
