During the current summer transfer campaign, the German team "Stuttgart" received with great interest the offer made by "Bayern" for the striker Nick Woltemade.
Idman.biz reports that, in the end, the "Swabians" decided to keep the 23-year-old football player.
Fragments of correspondence between the clubs during Bayern's last two offers have leaked to the media. Stuttgart's response on July 11 to Bayern's initial offer of 40 million euros + 5 million euros in bonuses stated: "Thank you for your offer, the deviation from our expectations is so great that we must consider the possibility of an agreement to be completely unrealistic.
In addition, our sporting losses associated with Voltemade's departure will far outweigh the gains from your offer.
For this reason, we would like to stop negotiations. We ask you to refrain from further attempts to transfer this player."
Later, Bayern made a new offer - 50 million euros + 5 million euros, but Stuttgart's response did not change much: "Our decision to refuse a face-to-face meeting is due to the fact that our positions are very different from each other. Your latest offer does not change this situation. Therefore, we ask you to respect our final position on the player."
It should be noted that the striker's agent had previously criticized the Stuttgart management for hindering the transfer.
