Yassin Benzia, who plays for "Qarabag", refused to play for the German club "Bavaria" in his youth. Sport24.az reports that Mustafa Benzia, the Algerian midfielder's brother, stated this in an interview with the local press.
He said that Yassin Benzia had the opportunity to play for the Munich representative at the age of 15:
"Although the Bavaria club wanted to keep him after a week-long review, Benzia refused. He didn't like the German weather. It was cold. At that age, 15, he didn't like the environment. Finally, he went to a review in Lyon and was liked there as well."
It should be noted that Benzia, whose contract with "Qarabag" has expired, is expected to move to the Tunisian club "Esperance".
