Barcelona plans to extend the contract with midfielder Frenkie de Jong. Sport24.az reports that "Mundo Deportivo" has reported on this.
According to the source, the management of the Catalan representative is waiting for de Jong to allow negotiations with his new agent. The footballer must sever business relations with his current agent, with whom he has disagreements. Only then will the player be able to inform Barcelona about the new legal entity with which he will negotiate.
It should be noted that the Catalans intend to sign a contract with de Jong until 2028, with the condition of extending it for another season.
