It was reported that the contract with the 35-year-old striker, which has expired, was not renewed. However, the Premier League representative also announced that it will continue to support and assist the footballer in the rehabilitation process after a serious car accident in December 2024. In this sense, it is planned to give the footballer an alternative role in the club.
It should be noted that M. Antonio, who has been wearing the "West Ham" uniform since 2015, has scored 83 goals in 323 matches in the team.
