Southampton defender Yukinari Sugawara will wear the Werder jersey on loan until the summer of 2026. Sport24.az reports that the German club's press service has released information about this.
According to Bild, at the end of the loan period, Werder can buy the rights to the 25-year-old Japanese player for 6 million euros.
It should be noted that the Japanese defender scored 1 goal and made 1 assist in 32 matches in all tournaments in the 2024/25 season. His contract with the English club expires in the summer of 2028.
