German club "Werder" has parted ways with head coach Horst Steffen. Sport24.az reports that the Bremen team's official website has released information about this.
Temporarily, his assistants Rafael Duarte and Christian Gross will take the team to training sessions.
Horst Steffen took over the team last summer. The "Bremen" club has not been able to win for ten consecutive games under his leadership, and their last victory was on November 7, in a match against "Wolfsburg" (2-1).
It should be noted that "Werder" is currently in 15th place in the league table, and the team is only one point away from the relegation zone.
