"I think Vugar Nadirov's statements are, first of all, words he said out of resentment. He left us in a somewhat resentful state. I understand him to some extent, because only five rounds had passed. But he also had to understand us - we did not expect such results! Most importantly, the team did not show the game that we or our fans wanted. Vugar is a good coach, a good person, but we were primarily not satisfied with the results of his work. Let's just say that football luck did not smile on him," said Vusal Mammadov.

Vusal Mammadov also denied the allegations that there was a financial problem in the club.
"It is generally impossible to talk about the termination of funding for our club or any financial problems! The residents of Shamkir will never allow this! Also, the talk about the delay in salaries is unfounded, I pay the salaries of the team members on time, on the last day of each month," emphasized the president of the "Shamkir" club.
