According to information received by our editorial office from a source close to the club, the first candidate for the club, which aims to rise to the First League, was Gazanfar Abbasov, the coach of "Garadag Lokbatan", their main rival in the Second League. Officials even made an offer to the coach from Sumgayit in this regard. However, Abbasov stated that he did not want to leave his current job and that everything satisfied him in the town's representative.
Currently, the main candidate for the vacant position is Vugar Nadirov, who left "Shamkir" during the season. According to our source, negotiations with Nadirov have already been completed, and if no force majeure occurs, his appointment will be announced to the public in the coming days.
