Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz spoke about his goal in the match against Wolverhampton in the 18th round of the English Premier League.

"I was sure I would score one day. I wanted to start scoring and making assists earlier, but that's the way it is and I have to accept it. I just knew it was going to happen and I tried to keep going. We played great in the first half. We lost our way a little later in the game, but then we got back on track. Everyone worked hard. We want to play like that. We want to be here and at the top of the league table. The start of the season wasn't easy for us, but we're improving and scoring points," Wirtz told Footmercato.
