The details of the contract with Neftchi's new transfer, Vincent Aboubakar, have been clarified.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to futbolinfo.az that the 33-year-old striker will sign a 1+1 year contract with the "white-blacks".
The member of the Cameroon national team, who is currently in Baku, will be officially announced after passing a medical examination. Aboubakar's performance this season will determine whether he stays in the team. If his performance is satisfactory, his contract will be automatically extended for 1 year next summer.
Aboubakar is expected to be the highest-paid footballer playing in Azerbaijan. Although no specific figure has been announced, it is estimated that he will receive no less than 1 million euros.
It should be noted that Aboubakar left his last club Hatayspor in May of this year and joined Neftchi as a free agent. Due to not playing for the past period, his physical condition is not in order at the moment.
