Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen commented on the 1-0 victory over Liverpool in the second round of the Champions League. Sport24.az reports that the Nigerian forward made a statement on the official UEFA website:
"By putting all our strength on the field, we defeated a very strong team. I am very happy to be the best player of the match. But this is the success of the whole team, including our head coach Okan Buruk."
It should be noted that after this game, Galatasaray is 18th in the league with 3 points. Liverpool, with 3 points, is 16th. In the third round, Galatasaray will face Bodo-Glimt, and Liverpool will face Eintracht Frankfurt. Both games will take place on October 22.
