"I have watched Betis' previous matches. I was happy that the team reached the final." These words were said by veteran football player Vali Gasimov in his statement to Sport24.az.
He shared his thoughts on his former team, Betis, reaching the final of the UEFA Conference League:
"I wish them victory in the final. Those who work at the club now are the ones who played in the team with me at the same time. They are my acquaintances, we still have connections. I also congratulated them on reaching the final. We even met in Spain last year."
Gasimov emphasized that the team could become champion in the Conference League:
