"Valencia" has sued "Netflix" for allegedly defaming the club in the film "Dance, Vini," which is about "Real Madrid" winger Vinicius Junior.
İdman.biz reports that AS has reported on this.
According to the publication, the "Netflix" streaming service did not respond to the Spanish club's request to change the subtitles in the film.
In a fragment of the film depicting the "Valencia" – "Real Madrid" match at the "Mestalla" stadium in 2023, fans chant offensive slogans at Vinicius. "Netflix" subtitled the film and writes that the fans shout "monkey", while the words "fool, simpleton" are clearly heard in the video.
In addition, the film does not mention that the club took disciplinary action against the fans of that match. This creates a negative opinion about "Valencia" by the streaming service.
Let us remind you that in 2023, the "Valencia" – "Real" match ended in a mass brawl due to insults addressed to the Madrid team's Brazilian striker. "Valencia" fans have been accused of racism.
