Vagif Javadov: "I guess the management won't have time to give a chance for the next season."

Vagif Javadov, who left the post of head coach of "Sumgayit" today, spoke about the mutual termination of his contract.

The expert, who gave an explanation to "Report", said that he respects the management's decision.

"It is the management's decision and I respect it. Thank you that the management of "Sumgayit" gave me the experience as the first head coach in the Premier League. They trusted me. I think that in turn I represented the club in the best way. I was not set the goal of reaching the European Cups. Our goal was to protect our place in the elite, and we managed to cope with it. Simply, such a decision was made because the results in the last games of the season were not satisfactory. Currently, my coaching course in the PRO category continues. I will continue my activity in one of the teams of the club consisting of lower age groups," said V. Javadov.

He spoke about the management not giving him a chance in the new season:

"It is possible that the management does not have time to give a chance for the next season. I take it normally. Such processes exist in football. I believe that in the coming years I will receive great offers again. At today's meeting with the management, it was stated that I can work as a head coach again in the coming years."

The 35-year-old specialist emphasized that he is open to good offers after this:

"Of course, I will always be open to good offers. I already have experience as a head coach in the Premier League. The job of head coaches is such that today you are here, tomorrow you are somewhere else. Therefore, I want to continue my activities as a head coach and be useful to Azerbaijani football. But now I will continue my work in "Sumgayit". It is not clear which age group I will work in."
