"It was the first test match of the training camp. Such matches are important in terms of game experience. It was a training session. In general, everything is going according to plan." This was stated by Urfan Abbasov, a football player of "Araz-Nakhchivan", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced football player also provided information about the progress of the training camp:
"We have two more test matches ahead. After these games, the team will be in better shape. "Aris" is a well-known club. We must give our best. Time will tell who will win. I hope that we will be the winning side in the end. The next season the championship will be interesting. The number of teams has increased and everyone will want to show their strength. Our squad has become even stronger, we have quality football players. God willing, we will fight for the championship next season."
It should be noted that the Nakhchivan club will face "Alanyaspor" on July 11 and "Trabzonspor" on July 17. The team will face "Aris" (Greece) in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. The first match will be held on July 24 at "Liv Bona Dea Arena" and will start at 20:00. The return match will be away a week later.
