Ümit Karan Arrested on Drug Charges

Former Turkish national team footballer Ümit Karan has been arrested. Sport24.az reports with reference to local media that the court has ordered the arrest of Ümit Karan.

 

In addition to Karan, 12 more people were arrested as part of the investigation.

 

It should be noted that Karan was detained a few days ago as part of an investigation into drugs conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office since October last year. He is charged with "production and trade of narcotic or psychotropic substances".
