Ulvi Babayev, the Azerbaijani-origin Russian forward for Moscow Dynamo, became the hero of the match last night by scoring three goals against Samara's Krylya Sovetov.
Idman.biz reports that Ulvi scored in the 22nd, 71st, and 78th minutes of the Russian Cup match. The match ended with Dynamo winning 4-0. This is Babayev's first career hat-trick.
As a reminder, 21-year-old Babayev was born in Khimki, Moscow Oblast, and has been playing for Moscow Dynamo since 2021. He has been repeatedly called up to the Russian national teams for various age groups.
