The Ukrainian national football team won a friendly match against Poland. Sport24.az reports that the match took place in "Tarczynski Arena" in Wroclaw, Poland.
The Ukrainian national team won the match with a score of 2:0. Roman Yaremchuk scored the first goal for the visitors in the 34th minute. Andriy Yarmolenko scored in the 44th minute, setting the final score.
These teams last met in a friendly match in the summer of 2024. In that match, the Polish national team won with a score of 3:1.
It should be noted that both national teams failed to qualify for the final stage of the World Cup 2026. Ukraine lost to Sweden in the play-offs and stopped fighting, while Poland lost to the same opponent in the final play-off with a score of 2:3.
