Azerbaijan team shooter Narmin Jafarova continues her successful performance at the U23 European Championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the 18-year-old athlete successfully completed the qualification stage in the trap stand and reached the final. Thus, Jafarova got the chance to compete for a medal in the continental championship.
Narmin Jafarova has been one of the promising athletes in Azerbaijani shooting sports in recent years. She won a silver medal in the trap stand at the Third Commonwealth Games held in Azerbaijan in 2025.
Jafarova has also gained experience in international competitions. She represented Azerbaijan in both individual and mixed team events at the World Championship held in Athens in 2025 and the ISSF World Cup held in Almaty in 2026. Currently, she is ranked 96th in the ISSF women's trap world ranking.
