Arsenal football club may strengthen their defense with Tottenham captain Christian Romero.
Idman.Biz reports citing "Sky Sports" that according to British media, the Argentine defender is not against moving to Arsenal. However, Tottenham's management does not want to sell the 28-year-old footballer to their North London rivals.
Arsenal continues to search for a central defender in the summer transfer window. The London club has previously considered the Romero option.
Tottenham, on the other hand, is in a position not to let one of their key players go to a direct rival. That's why the possible transfer seems unlikely.
Note that Romero is also a member of the Argentina national team.
