UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin has criticized the idea of holding national league matches abroad. Sport24.az reports that journalist Martin Ziegler announced this on his social media account.
The head of the supreme football body condemned the initiative to hold championship matches abroad: "If you give up football yourself, how will you create your new identity, how will you protect local football passion?".
It should be noted that some time ago, there were reports in the media about holding some La Liga matches in the USA.
