UEFA has postponed its decision regarding a possible ban on Israel.
According to İdman.biz, it was previously reported that UEFA would make a decision this week regarding a possible ban on Israeli teams. It was noted that the "vast majority" of the organization's executive committee members support the ban.
According to "The Times," UEFA postponed the vote on this issue against the backdrop of the new peace plan presented by US President Donald Trump at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Eight Muslim countries - Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Turkey - have already declared that they will cooperate with Trump to end the conflict. UEFA leaders have decided that now is not the right time to ban Israeli teams.
However, if Israel continues its military operations, the possibility of imposing such sanctions in the future remains.
