U-21 national team captain Aykhan Suleymanli underwent knee surgery in Germany

Aykhan Suleymanli, the captain of the Azerbaijan national U-21 football team, underwent surgery today in Munich, Germany.

Idman.biz reports this with reference to AFFA.

The 21-year-old defender successfully underwent surgery on his left knee anterior cruciate ligament by Professor Dr. Philipp Niemeyer at "Sana Klinik München".

Aykhan Suleymanli was injured in the match against the Bulgarian national team (1:1) held in Baku as part of the European Championship qualifying round in the U-21 national team.
