İdman.biz reports that this was stated by Shahriyar Aliyev, the captain of "Turan Tovuz", in his statement to Futbolinfo.az.
The 33-year-old defender explained the reason why he did not get a chance to play on the field from the head coach: "My physical condition is good now. For some reasons, I could not participate in the full training camp with the team. I am working on getting a chance from the head coach in the upcoming matches. Not only me, but each of the 25-26 football players in the team is trying to do their best. I don't think there is a problem to be exaggerated. If the head coach gives me a chance, I will do my best. I would say that the break was perfect".
Aliyev also said that his team is preparing for the match against Gabala in the 4th round of the Misli Premier League: "After a few days of rest, we started our first training session. The team was given 3 days of rest after the match with Neftchi. We will try to get our physical condition back to a good shape during this break. Our injured football players will try to recover completely by the next game. After the break, we have a game against Gabala. Our opponent is not weak either, looking at their recent games, they seem to be a good team. We will try to come to that game more motivated and prepared".
The captain of the Tovuz representative also announced the goals for the current season: "We have set a goal as a team. We should not repeat last year's mistakes. We will try to be in ideal shape in the championship to win points, because what we lose later creates problems for us. We will do our best for this. We have 6 points in 3 games. We will do our best to show better results in the upcoming games".
