"We prepared seriously for the game against "Shafa". Every point earned is important for us in the fight to stay in the championship." These words were said by Tural Jalilov, the captain of "Shimal", a representative of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The experienced football player commented on his team's defeat to "Shafa" in the 18th round of the league:
"Our opponent's strength is known to everyone. They have not lost this season. We had chances, but we couldn't take advantage of them. We could have won at least one point. The players showed perseverance. It wasn't meant to be. We will fight and fight until the end. We don't even think about leaving the First League. We intend to maintain our position. If we win in the next games, I believe that the rest will follow. As a team, we will show unity and get out of this difficult situation."
