"We prepared well for the game. Our opponent showed their strength by winning the first round. We played against a strong team composed of high-level, physically prepared players." These words were said by Tunar Mutallimov, a football player of "Khankendi", a representative of the Second League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 26-year-old football player shared his thoughts about the match in which his team defeated "Quba" with a score of 4:0 yesterday:
"We wanted to return from the away game with 3 points. Thank God, we managed to do it. I am happy that my team won in my first game. I hope it will continue. Our goal is only the championship. It won't be easy. We approach all opponents the same way. In general, opponents always come to the field with a different enthusiasm against teams playing for the championship. We have to work hard and prepare seriously for the matches. After that, victories will follow. There are experienced football players in the team. Our road is long, I hope we will celebrate the championship this year as well. We have enough strength to become champions in the Second League."
It should be noted that "Khankendi" is the leader of the Second League with 6 points after two rounds.
