Tsxadadze: I can't sleep after games, either as a player or now

"Gabala" Bizon lost to "Sabah" in the penalty shootout in the return match of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup and stopped competing in the tournament. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of "red-blacks" Kakhaber Tskhadadze answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the match:

"It was a very interesting game. There were a lot of goal episodes and goals. I congratulate "Sabah" on the victory. My players did their best in terms of character and game. We need such games in the championship. Our main goal is to stay in the Premier League. We will face "Sabah" in the next championship game as well."

- Why didn't Rza Jafarov play?

- Salahat Agayev's game was good the last two times. That's why we gave him a chance. I was satisfied with his game.

- Considering that "Gabala" does not impress much in penalties this season. What did you think when you went to the penalty shootout?

- To tell the truth, I thought we had already won. I assumed that we would perform well in the penalty shootout. Considering the last two championship games, I did not expect this in this game. the penalty issue is a psychological issue. Murad Musayev always hits a different corner, this time it didn't work. I myself was surprised by the penalty he took. They could not do in this day what they did in training due to psychological reasons. We ask the players in advance who wants to take the penalty. 

- Your thoughts on Balua?

- Balua is a very important player. Of course, if he had been with us in the winter training camp, he would have been more ready. As for the red card episode,  the AFFA itself should clarify the episode. It seems to me that there was a foul before the game episode. I would also like them to investigate. The approach of the referees may be different. We are not going back anyway. In another moment, Akinade was hit in the face. In my personal opinion, there was a red card in that episode. This should also be investigated.

- You probably won't be able to sleep tonight, or you will sleep late. Will it be from happiness or disappointment?

- I can't sleep after games, either when I was a football player or now. (laughs). This is adrenaline. I would like you to understand that you can lose. But it is not easy to show such a game and character.
