"We knew before the match that a difficult game awaited us."
These words were said by Sabah's footballer Timoteusz Puchacz in his statement to Sport24.az.
The winger shared his thoughts on the VI round match of the Misli Premier League, which they drew with Sumgayit:
"We prepared well for this match. I think we played very well in this game. We scored 3 goals, we could have scored more. Unfortunately, two of these goals were disallowed and we could not leave the field with 3 points."
The Polish player said they deserved to win:
"I think we deserved to win. Now we need to forget this game and prepare for the upcoming matches. I believe that we will be able to achieve our goal in our next games."
It should be noted that the Sabah - Sumgayit match ended with a score of 1:1.
