According to the source, Abdukodir Khusanov from Manchester City showed the highest speed among central defenders. The Uzbek stopper reached a speed of 35.80 km/h (22.38 mph). This result was the highest indicator in his category.
PSG defender Ilya Zabarnyi was also included in the list. He took 14th place among central defenders with a speed of 33.48 km/h (21.88 mph).
According to CIES, Newcastle striker Anthony Gordon was the fastest player in all positions. The forward's maximum speed was 37.92 km/h (23.58 mph).
