Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has responded to rumors circulating about a possible departure from the Catalan club. Sport24.az reports that journalist Kerry Hau shared this information on the "X" social network (formerly "Twitter"). The German footballer said:
"No one has spoken to me about this topic. I know for sure that I will be in Barcelona next year. Barcelona is one of the biggest clubs in the world, competition is natural here. The situation doesn't change for me. I am eagerly awaiting the next season with this young, dynamic and hungry-for-success team."
It should be noted that ter Stegen has been playing for Barcelona since the summer of 2014. During this time, he became the La Liga champion 6 times with the club, won the Spanish Cup 6 times, and the Super Cup 4 times. The 33-year-old goalkeeper has also won the UEFA Champions League.
