Anderson Talisca, the attacking midfielder of the Turkish club "Fenerbahçe," is close to a new contract due to his brilliant performance this season. The Brazilian footballer, who scored two goals in the team's victory over "Alanyaspor," has been one of the key players carrying the team's burden.
İdman.Biz, citing "Sabah" publication, reports that the club management has decided to extend the contract, which expires at the end of the season.
According to the agreement, Talisca will sign a new two-year contract with "Fenerbahçe," and the player's annual earnings will be 5 million euros (approximately 9.9 million AZN). Thus, the total salary will be 10 million euros (approximately 19.8 million AZN).
It was reported that Talisca's current contract, who joined the Istanbul club with a 1.5-year contract during the winter break of last season, was expiring in June 2026. The issue of the footballer, who has been carrying the team with his goals and assists in recent times, staying was the main topic of discussion.
Head coach Tedesco expressed his position clearly after the "Alanya" game:
"For me, everything is clear on this subject, he must stay. It is difficult to find such a tall and left-footed player in the number 10 position. When he plays at number 9, he does very good runs behind the defense".
According to reports, the negotiations between the club and the footballer have been concluded positively. Talisca, rejecting offers from Brazil, stated that he wanted to stay at "Fenerbahçe" and agreed to a reduction in his previous salary of 7.5 million euros (15 million AZN).
The Brazilian footballer, who stood out with 17 goals and three assists this season, is in second place in the productivity list. If he scores four more goals, he will surpass his best season performance of 20 goals in "Beşiktaş".
