– You drew goalless with "Neftchi" in the 4th round of the Misli Premier League. Do you think the result was according to the game?
– It was a difficult game. Several of our new players had a chance in this match. They need some time to adapt to the team and get used to the team's game system. Everything didn't go the way we wanted in the match against "Neftchi". Nevertheless, I think the result was fair. We need to work on ourselves, eliminate the shortcomings and deficiencies we have made.
– "Sabah" has collected 4 points in 3 games in the championship. Are you satisfied with this result?
– Of course not. We go to every game to win. That is our goal. But as I said before, we have to work on the shortcomings. I believe that everything will work out for us from now on.
– "Sabah" added 3 new players to the team in the last days of the "Transfer window". What do you think about Timoteusz Puchacz, Aaron Malouda and Aleksey Isaev? Will they be able to add strength to the team?
– The newcomers are quite quality players. I think that their presence with us will increase the overall quality and competition in the team, which is a positive factor.
– You will host "Turan Tovuz" in the next round. How do you assess the chances?
– I wouldn't want to talk about chances. I can only say that as a team we will do our best to leave the field with 3 points.
– "Zira" and "Araz-Nakhchivan" are still contenders, as in the previous season. "Turan Tovuz"'s 3 wins in 4 games show that this team is also a contender for European Cups. In addition, there is "Sumgayit", which had a successful start to the season. If "Neftchi" also starts a winning streak, won't it be even more difficult for "Sabah" to win a ticket to the European Cups?
– These teams have had a very good start to the season. This adds extra color to the championship, making it a more competitive league. As a team, we think about our game and our results. We only focus on our upcoming matches, on winning these games.
– You are one of the best goalkeepers in the Azerbaijan championship. I wonder, who do you like more among the goalkeepers playing in our Premier League?
– Thank you for your kind words. But I would like to express my opinion about our own goalkeepers, not other teams. Nijat Mehbaliyev, Rustam Samigullin and Rauf Ayyubov, who are currently in our team, are quite talented goalkeepers. If they continue to work on themselves as they do now, I believe they will become one of the best goalkeepers in Azerbaijan.
