Former head coach of Croatian "Dinamo" Nenad Bjelica has made harsh statements about Sami Mmmae, who was removed from the main team in "Qarabağ". Sport24.az reports that the Croatian specialist, speaking to his country's press, recalled that the Moroccan defender was expelled from the team in November 2024.
Bjelica said that the Zagreb representative supported the player:
"I was expecting punishment. But it didn't happen. They broke the hierarchy. What happened in the spring was the result of this decision. Next time he insulted the coach, pointed his finger at him. If Mmae can do it, then others will too. We are not talking about Messi and Ronaldo, but about a reserve player of "Ferencvaros". He hurt "Dinamo". If they told me that there was a five-fold contract, just bring Mmae back, I would say "no".
It should be noted that the head coach of "Qarabağ" Gurban Gurbanov announced on February 23 that Mmae was sent to the reserve team for violating disciplinary rules. The defender was leased from Dinamo at the beginning of the season.
