Ukraine failed to perform well in the match against Azerbaijan.
According to "Report", this was stated by the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Sergey Rebrov, at a press conference.
The expert shared his thoughts on the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against the Azerbaijani national team in Baku:
"I also stated yesterday that no opponent is weak. I want to say that the condition of the field was not encouraging either. We lost points because we couldn't perform well. The Azerbaijani team relied on counter-attacks."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match, which took place at the Tofiq Bahramov stadium, ended in a 1:1 draw.
