Fiorentina footballer Nicolo Zaniolo is in the news for an unpleasant incident. Sport24.az reports that the midfielder went to the locker room after the Roma U20 - Fiorentina U20 match and scolded the young players.
It is alleged that he also hit two Roma players.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Italian Football Federation has launched an investigation into the 25-year-old player. Zaniolo has denied the news:
"After the match, I went to the locker room and congratulated my team's players. Then I wanted to say hello to the opposing players, but they insulted me. However, I left there so that the matter would not escalate."
Zaniolo has scored 3 goals and 3 assists in 36 games this season.
