The semi-final match between "Deportivo Madrin" and "Deportivo Moron" in Argentina to advance to the Primera ended in scandal.
İdman.Biz reports that although the home team won 1:0, the main events took place after the final whistle.
"Deportivo Moron" players were dissatisfied with referee Pablo Echavarria, who awarded the free kick that led to the only goal of the match. After the game, angry players, coaches and fans rushed onto the field to protest aggressively.
Police armed with shields and pepper spray entered the field. Some players tried to confront them, while others restrained their teammates. When the players got too close, police used pepper spray, forcing the rioters to retreat.
The conflict continued between the players themselves: several "Deportivo Moron" players chased "Deportivo Madrin".
In the final, "Deportivo Madrin" will face "Estudiantes Rio Cuarto".
